Sampler for 'Page of the Day'

This page is a sampler for the Page of the Day that you can access if you your browser can handle Java Scripts. These follow three themes; the Brahan Seer, The Reverend Norman MacLeod and a selection of jokes, mainly Scottish.

The Brahan Seer was born on the island of Lewis, made numerous prophecies during his life time and came to a sticky end.

The Reverend Norman MacLeod was born in Clachtoll and lead his congregation around the world ending up in New Zealand. See his Memorial in Clachtoll.

As for Jokes, here is one that did not make it into Page of the Day:
A Scotsman was strolling across High Street one day wearing his kilt. As he neared the far curb, he noticed two young blondes in a red convertible eyeing him and giggling. One of them called out, "Hey, Scotty! What's worn under the kilt?"

He strolled over to the side of the car and asked, "Ach, lass, are you sure you want to know?" Somewhat nervously, the blonde said yes, she did want to know.

The Scotsman leaned closer and confided, "Why, lass, nothing's worn under the kilt, everything's in perfect working order."
