One mistake you can make is to select a source folder and paste it inide its destination eqivalent. You wind up with folder 'X' within folder 'X'.

When the backup has finished, check the destination folder and compare it with the sourc folder.

Warning

When you come to backup subsequently, you will get a window warning like this:

Examine the file details and if they have not changed, click on
'Don't Copy'

Examine the file details and if they have changed, click on
'Copy and Replace'

Alternatively, tick the 'Do this...' box and click on the 'Copy and Replace'.
