The 'dfn' tag
The 'dfn' tag is used to contain a term which is being defined. In some browsers, it puts the text into italics. E.G.
<dfn>Keyboard shortcuts</dfn> are combinations of key presses, which perform special actions.

The dl, dt and dd tags
These tags are used in a list of definitions.

<dd>Perennial. Sends out underground runners.</dd>
<dt>Coriander</dt>
<dd>Annual. also called cilantro, coriander likes cooler weather of spring and fall</dd>
