| The Clearance Village of Dubh Clais, near Lochinver. Grade B, Fascinating walk to the old Clearance Village where many households were moved to make way for a sheep farm in 1800. Find out what life may have been like then and examine the evidence that remains in the landscape today. Meet at 11.00am the Lochinver Tourist Information Centre (NC095 225). Allow 4 hours. Total 8km. Bring packed lunch. |
