"Write your own web site from scratch". Its easier than you think. This booklet, in PDF format, is meant to cover, not so much the use of HTML and the like, but the ways you can put such information to use in order to construct your web site. In it I state that you should not use frames! Having said that, a previous edition of www.normist.co.uk used frames to simplify navigation through the site. With over three hundred pages it needs some simplification, even though it will take some nine weeks to work your way through all of them.www.pagetutor.com is a great website with a course on HTML written in a very easy and understandable form. The version that I have is somewhat old and does not use lower case tags as is now required. Neither does it make tags like 'img', 'hr' 'br' and 'link' self closing (ie <br /> ).
